This table on offer today is an absolute monster. The do not make them like this anymore, anywhere. Everything you see is solid oak. No plywood, no synthetic woods anywhere, no filler, just old growth oak. As a result, this table is remarkably heavy for a table of this style, and will be incredibly solid, stable and dependable for a very long time. In this business, older is often times better, as the craftsmanship and materials were much better in the 90’s. Wood was much cheaper, and companies didn’t try to cut unnecessary corners. This table is a great example of that.
